Privacy Policy

Waka Tech, trading as Waka Tech ("we", "us"), is the data controller for personal information described here. We collect only what we need to sell verified electronics, take payment, deliver orders, support you after purchase, and protect the site from bots and abuse.
What we collect
- Name, email, and phone when you create an account or check out
- Delivery address
- Order, payment reference, and delivery status
- Session cookies used to keep you signed in and to hold a cart
- Security signals processed by Cloudflare Turnstile on protected forms, such as IP address, TLS fingerprint, User-Agent, and the sitekey with its associated origin
How we use it
We use this information to create your account, confirm Paystack payments, quote and complete delivery, send order updates, handle support, and distinguish human visitors from automated traffic. We do not sell your personal information.
Payments
Card and transfer details are handled by Paystack. Waka Tech stores payment references and amounts, not your full card number.
Service providers
We use trusted processors to run the service. Depending on your interaction, information may be processed by payment providers (such as Paystack), delivery partners, cloud hosting and object storage (such as Cloudflare), email and authentication providers, fraud prevention tools (including Cloudflare Turnstile), and media processing where product photos are optimised. Each processor receives only what is needed for its role.
Cloudflare Turnstile
We use Cloudflare Turnstile, including in invisible mode, to protect account, login, and other forms from bots. Invisible Turnstile can run a challenge in the background with no visible widget. Cloudflare Turnstile processes client-side signals such as IP address, TLS fingerprint, User-Agent header, and the sitekey and associated origin. Cloudflare does not use those signals to identify, profile, or target individuals. The purpose is to detect and block bots so visitors can use the site safely. Cloudflare treats those signals as strictly necessary for that security purpose.
For providing Turnstile on our site, Waka Tech is the data controller and Cloudflare, Inc. processes the signals on our instructions. Cloudflare also processes the same signals as an independent controller to improve Turnstile's bot detection. As a condition of using invisible Turnstile, we reference Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum, which supplements Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. Delivery
We share name, phone, and address with the delivery provider and with Waka Tech operators only as needed to complete Waka Tech Delivery and to moderate orders. We do not share your delivery address, phone, or email with inventory partners.
Retention and security
We keep account and order records for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We apply access controls, encryption in transit, and other measures appropriate to the data we hold.
Cookies and sessions
A session cookie keeps you signed in. A cart cookie holds devices you added before you sign in. These are required for checkout to work. Cloudflare Turnstile may also use strictly necessary cookies or similar signals for bot detection on protected forms. Those security cookies are required for those forms to work and are not used for advertising.
Your rights
Under applicable Nigerian data protection law you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability where it applies. You can review and update your name, email, phone, and addresses from your profile. For other requests, use support from your account or order page.
